Planted with wild abandon!

I walk by this home and its wild front garden all the time; I don’t know why I’ve never taken photos of it. You’ve gotta love their planting enthusiasm. Euphorbia and Cardoon (or Artichoke?) mixing it up in the parking strip, controlled chaos. It doesn’t look like the grass is coming back, and the ivy is taking advantage of this situation. I’ll have to visit with the camera again, later in the season.

  6. That's my kind of garden! You can tell whoever lives there loves plants...Love the cardoon/artichoke and euphorbia pairing...even if does look like a battle to the death!

  7. Have you heard of a "bosky" bungalow? For years I thought it meant "cool" or something similar in the 20s. Then I learned it meant "copse" or "grove" (from the French, bosquet.) This cottage definitely qualifies!

  12. Love this! Just on the brink of out of chaos, but seemingly in control. That's a hard balance to maintain.

Gotta love someone who clearly loves plants as this gardener does.

  13. Dara, me too!

Mary, the best thing is that this garden looks this good but yet I never see them out there working in it. Low maintenance chaos.

DD, ok...great idea, I'll try to remember.

ricki, I'm always glad to supply a visual.

Patricia, me too! Maybe I'll start stalking them.

scott, I wonder who will win?

MulchMaid, I have not heard that term...but now I will think of it every time I walk by.

Les, you have a chaotic heart!

    Grace, I've never seen them!

Evelyn, I think that's why I stopped to take pictures this particular day. It just looked so darn healthy and happy.

    MTJ, you're welcome!

Van, you know you're right...and yet I've been calling it chaos.
